Note to Self: Basic Rules to live by

well not quite….but I have been growing out my eyebrows and look like an neanderthal woman. I have not plucked a single hair - okay maybe like one - since my birthday almost a month ago. I feel like a dirty butch dyke but have talked myself into being patient so i can go get a clean new shape at the Anastsia counter at Nordy’s.

having your eyebrows waxed does wonders to your face… its like the equivalent of a really good shave for men… magic really! just in the last week though it has gotten really really bad….so bad that 3 people made comments about how shitty they looked. ha ha. I went to get a “mani and pedi” (as the nail ladies call it) the other day and even the nail lady asked me “ahhh you want eyebrow wax?” I looked over at my friend and we both burst into laughter. just minutes before the nail lady asked me my friend looked over at me and said “what the hell is going on? your eyebrows look like shit.” ahhh friends. they are the only ones who will tell you that you look like shit.

so of course the after having a good laugh about it the nail lady looks over at her friend working next to her and starts talking vietnamese and laughing. i am sure they were saying something about how bushy they were. that is when you know that it is bad, when people start talking shit about you in a different language in front of you! it made me think of the you tube skit….funny one!

So i have decided today after looking in the mirror this morning and feeling like a dirty neanderthal that i should make my appointment. so i did. come friday i will be clean again. ahh.

Stella and i watched “21″ the movie a few weeks back and we fell in love with the actor in it… and i am not talking about kevin spacey - although i have to say that kevin spacey has some “good-ass” acting skills. He is one of my favorite actors. but this new guy. this new guy - the main character is quite the stud.

in trying to find a picture to post on this blog i came across some pictures of Jim Sturgess wearing a crisp white shirt and a skinny black tie. wowwowweeewow- it’s all those damn skinny ties that get me every time. I think it is common law among my friends that a skinny black tie and the collared shirt with sweater  and tie combo is a sure winner amongst my circle of friends.
